The student will learn about open systems, Building Automation Systems, Building Management Systems, and Enterprise Systems as they are applied to integration of various building sub-systems.

To understand the basics, a clear understanding of the core industry terms, acronyms, and concepts are presented as a foundation for more advanced classes. This class assumes the student has little to no industry knowledge and provides a foundation of the key topics.
