This recertification course covers the correct use of field test equipment required for the verification of both copper and fiber cabling systems. This course is for anyone looking to recertify their ACT II certification. The installations include local area networks, copper twisted pair cabling and internal and external fiber links. The course looks at the most common field testers available for both copper and fiber media and discusses how to test successfully, what to test and the best methods of testing and troubleshooting.

Prerequisite experience:

This course is an ideal follow-up for students who have previously completed the ACT II Certifying and Troubleshooting course.
