CommScope Operations Center [ND6453]

The purpose of this instructor-led training class is to familiarize the attendee with the use of the DAS Element Management System (EMS) for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Course Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the successful student will be able to:

  1. Login to and navigate the DAS equipment EMS
  2. Navigate and understand the alarm menus in the Host EMS
    Demonstrate the ability to download "Get Logs", active alarms, and alarm history logs
  3. Perform initial troubleshooting based on Host EMS alarm indications
  4. Determine when a field technician should be deployed
  5. Direct field technician activities in order to determine corrective actions to restore equipment to normal operating conditions

Who Should Attend?

Operations center personnel who monitor DAS equipment parameters, alarms, and send out first responders for initial troubleshooting.
