Introduces XpressPrep™, P3®, QR®, MC2®, ACT®, Arid-Core®, Solid Messenger and Toneable Drop cables.
- OutSide Plant Safety* - Introduces OSP safety including, OSHA, MSDS, Safety issues, First Aid, Designating Work Areas, Hand Tool safety, Electrical Tool and Electrical Safety, Ladder Safety, Protective equipment, Confined Space Safety, Marking cables (APWA), Optical Fiber safety overview.
- Right of Way* - Looks at Rights of way Maps, Permit applications, Identification & Eminent Domain, Installation and Damages, Installation and deviation.
- Trunk and Distribution Cables - This module introduces ACT® - Advanced Coring Technology, looks in detail at the specifications for P3®, QR®, MC2® coax cables, Attenuation and SRL testing, Connectorization of P3®, QR®, MC2® cables, Pulling Tensions and Bend Radii, using expansion Loops and pulling tools.
- Cable Installation - Aerial installation, clearances, reel setup, expansion loops and lashing, Passing poles, Messenger cable installation, Down Guys, Hardware and Block placement, Moving and stationary reel methods, dead ending, cable and strand separation, pole attachment and splicing, Underground installation.
