This course helps the student understand the optical systems used for FTTx networks, including PON and HFC transmission and the infrastructure components involved.

Audience:

Recommended for any student involved in the design, installation and project management of infrastructures for Broadband Access, HFC, FTTx and PON solutions.

Prerequisite experience:

The SP4420 Fiber Optic Infrastructure Specialist course is recommended to students in conjunction with this course.
