This course introduces the field test parameters and equipment required for the verification of 50ohm coaxial cabling systems. It discusses equipment options, the correct set-up of testers, and how and what to test.

Audience:

This course is for anyone interested in learning more about testing coaxial cabling installations. The installations could be wide-area wireline networks, and copper coaxial cabling for wireless, broadband and cell site installations. The course looks at the most common field testers available for coaxial media.

Prerequisite experience:

No prerequisite experience is required however a general knowledge of common terms concerning coaxial cabling would be advantageous.
