This badge demonstrates the student has successfully completed the SYSTIMAX Design and Engineering (D&E) course. The course covers cabling design, engineering and implementation for copper and fiber optics, data communications fundamentals and industry standards. Industry standards such as ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173, EN50174, TIA-568, TIA569, TIA607 and many others are included in this course for review and their impact on design.
Upon completion, the certification allows students to register projects for the extended SYSTIMAX warranty from a design perspective, providing their company is an approved SYSTIMAX Partner.
