SYSTIMAX Certification and Photo ID Badging
Recognizing the qualifications of installer personnel is now more important than
ever, and it is often regarded as a key compliance requirement, both on and off site. Accordingly, all
individuals who successfully complete SYSTIMAX SCS training courses are issued with a training certificate
and a unique photo ID badge for the relevant training course.
Note: ND notation signifies Classroom course, FC notation signifies Flexible Classroom course delivery, (both receive NDxxxx course certificates) and SP notation is Online course (SP course certificate).
There are currently three certification badges:
 |
Authorized in SYSTIMAX Design & Engineering, Installation & Maintenance (ASE) or Certified as iPatch Support Specialist
- Holders of the SP3321 and ND3361 (ND3341 prior to 2011) badge/Certificate are involved in design, project or installation management on and off site such
as foremen, team leaders, senior designers and installers or quality control and inspection staff. Customers should expect a number of
Authorized badge holders to be involved in projects, as these engineers will register sites for the SYSTIMAX SCS 20-year warranty.
Holders of the ND5510 certification are the recommended support specialists for iPatch equipment, operation and software installation and maintenance.
Additional Design skills training for D&E qualified students is available and icons will be added to the ASE badge. Courses include: SP5500 iPatch, SP7700 IBIS, SP8800 Data Center and more.
Certification for these courses is 'Achievement'.
Notes:
- The expiry date is reflected under each course that requires less than 4 years re-certification.
- If a discipline forms the pre-requisite to another class the Icon will be replaced by the 'higher' qualification i.e. ND5510 will replace ND5500 icon.
- D&E, the additional design skills and iPatch are available to customers and consultants using the end-user ID badge.
The CommScope BusinessPartner locator, used by customers to select BusinessPartners, also shows training and qualifications.

ID Badges - Customers & Consultants are requesting more frequently that vendor trained and certified Designers &

backed training and a method of validation is required. Certificates are also provided for all courses.
