SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners have trained SYSTIMAX Professionals on staff who have proven their knowledge in the latest cabling technology through rigorous certification training. The SYSTIMAX Certification is a dependable measure of competency that can be relied on.
The goal of the SYSTIMAX SCS Training Program is to:
- Make responses more competitive by design and innovation
- Reduce costly design and installation errors
- Provide the client with the very latest in design and installation techniques
- Improve the ability to interface with customers & consultants on a technical level
- Differentiate your company from others due to training commitment
- Help ensure the design and installation is to the SYSTIMAX required standard for registration/warranty
- Improve employee awareness and motivation
The classroom-based ND3341 SYSTIMAX Installation and Maintenance course and the online SP3321 SYSTIMAX Design and Engineering course provide the necessary installation and design certification training for SYSTIMAX product ranges, with the exception of SYSTIMAX 360 solutions, which are not included. Students who already have SP3321 D&E can certify in 360 solutions using SP3360. ND3341 I&M students can certify using either SP3360 (online) or ND3360 (classroom). These courses update your qualification for a further 2 years.
To make it easier for new 2010 students, we have integrated the 360 solutions course into the course ordering process in the following way:
Design & Engineering:
Ordering 'SP3321 Design & Engineering' will now automatically add the SP3360 SYSTIMAX 360 Solutions course Free of Charge to the student's account. Both courses must be completed successfully in order to support and warranty sites with 360 products for Design.
Installation and Maintenance:
A new 3-day course ND3361 The Complete Installation and Maintenance can now be reserved. This course includes the original 2-day Installation and Maintenance (ND3341) and the 1-day SYSTIMAX 360 Solutions (ND3360) courses. Both courses must be attended in order to support and warranty sites with 360 products for Installation. (Alternatively the student may attend ND3341 and successfully complete the online SP3360).
Authorized SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners must ensure that they have sufficiently trained personnel to support warranty applications for the appropriate solution. The CommScope BusinessPartner locator, used by customers to select BusinessPartners, also shows training and qualifications.
The other courses in the syllabus are designed to support specific product and solutions requirements. Depending upon your experience we recommend you take the SP3321 as a foundation prior to taking the Specialist courses but the detailed course descriptions will help you make this decision. Each course is recognized by BICSI and carries BICSI Continuing Education Credits.
In some regions the classroom courses such as ND3341, ND3360 and ND5510 may be delivered by using a 'Flexible Course Facility'. In which case the course will be prefixed by an 'FC' making ND3341 - FC3341. The final certification is the same (ND3341). The FCF process allows either the local CommScope teams or the students to register for a course and purchase the course Material on a low cost CD, study as required in advance and arrange for any hands-on course and assessment to be arranged locally. Students should note that the local Hands-on training and assessment may be charged in addition to the Initial Online course registration cost. 2010 Syllabus: Moving to 2010 more courses will become available online and existing courses will, where necessary be revised. There may be some variation in regional delivery and courses may be given as classroom courses with local language instruction until available online in translated formats. Please note not all online courses shown are currently available, for more information check in 'Courses' and with the 'News'.
