    The Academy intends to launch the 'GL5555R SYSTIMAX Certified imVision Support Specialist - Recertification' early in October 2014. The course is $95 or free with the CommScope Training Passport. The prerequisite is to have already qualified in the GL5555. For those students who obtained GL5555 certification over a year ago you will have to recertify before the end of 2014 to keep your CISS (Certified imVision Support Specialist) status current.

    A Distributed Antenna System or DAS used for in building wireless (IBW) coverage is a network of spatially separated antennas connected to a common source to distribute RF signals within a geographical area or building. Installing DAS cables and connectors without any training runs the risk of PIM and other problems that could affect the wireless system working properly. So if you are intending to install 1/2 inch 50 Ohm coaxial cables for an in-building wireless system then this recorded webinar is a must.
