This course teaches you how to position SYSTIMAX solutions more effectively in a competitive environment. The primary audience is for SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners involved in both the inside and external sales process as well as SYSTIMAX staff needing to position CommScope, SYSTIMAX and SYSTIMAX products correctly in the market to customers.

This is the foundation Design and Engineering course to support this aspect of the SYSTIMAX warranty and to provide a platform for Infrastructure Designers to continue on with specialized design courses. The focus is firmly on Design, Engineering & commercial aspects specific to the large range of SYSTIMAX cabling products.

Online Self Paced Training:

This online course serves as the re-certification for the 3321 Design and Engineering and 3361 (formerly 3341) Installation and Maintenance.  You must be currently certified in one or both of these classes as a prerequisite to taking this class. The class combines the recertification material for both D&E and I&M courses for you to re-qualify in your original discipline. If you prefer hands on I&M recertification only, then a good alternative is the FC3361 or re-sitting the full ND3361 I&M class.

This course introduces the latest SYSTIMAX Products and Solutions together with their associated Design and Installation practices. It includes a look at 10G and beyond, the latest products to be included into InstaPATCH Cu, InstaPATCH 360 and iPatch Hardware. In addition we revisit the architectural design and installation considerations and inspection and testing required to support 10G U/UTP and F/UTP solutions and SYSTIMAX warranty.

The focus of this course is to introduce the concept of Intelligent Patching Infrastructures, what they do and where they fit in the Infrastructure market. The course then looks specifically at CommScope's Intelligent Infrastructure Solution, SYSTIMAX iPatch. The focus remains firmly on the justification and Business Case for this solution, looking at the benefits to customer businesses, Return On Investment (ROI), Economic Value Creation (EVC), likely markets, competition and product support.

The course has many examples of ROI and a number of useful Sales Videos and links to ROI and EVC tools. This course is NOT Technically oriented and has a firm focus on sales, motivation to buy and business case.

This course is for partners and customers who wish to maintain and administer (patch) iPatch hardware. It provides an iPatch component overview and hardware installation instructions for partners.

The expiry dates for existing 5510 certifications are being extended so they will not expire during this period.

This course provides updated material and recertification for those originally trained in ND5510 iPatch Support Specialist. Maximum 1 year re-certification required. Students will have qualified for this course by attending either ND5510 Certified iPatch Support Specialist or this course previously. This course currently supports SM revisions 5.4, 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5 and an iPatch 360 hardware update for SP5500 iPatch Design and Engineering. New revisions will be added to your account even if you have completed the course in the past year.

This course needs recertification every year.

The focus of this course is to take a detailed look at Fiber optic technology within our market and the associated CommScope fiber solutions. The course covers safety, transmission theory, cable structure and design, connectors and pre-terminated solutions, splicing and testing.

Recommended for Design Specialists already skilled in Design and Engineering (SP3321) and wanting to understand fiber technology and solutions in more depth. SP4400 is the pre-requisite to the SP4410 CommScope OSP Fiber Design and Engineering to qualify as a Fiber Specialist.

The focus of this course is to take a detailed look at OSP Fiber optic methodology within our market and the associated CommScope fiber solutions. The course covers OSP safety, Right of Way considerations, cable installation methodology, Splicing and Connectorization.

Recommended for Design Specialists already skilled in Design and Engineering (SP3321) and wanting to understand fiber technology and solutions in more depth. The SP4400 is the pre-requisite to the SP4410 CommScope OSP Fiber Design and Engineering to qualify as a Fiber Specialist.

The Wired for Wireless Solution is a cost effective solution designed to allow Enterprise customers to prepare their buildings for full carrier-neutral and uniform wireless coverage. Partners will learn how to deploy broadband coaxial cable and antennas throughout a building during the construction phase. The solution paves a path for the in building wireless needs of today and tomorrow. The course introduces the market and its technology as well as the coaxial products and antenna, connectivity, horizontal design, installation and testing.

SYSTIMAX IBIS provides the products and solutions to support BAS on SYSTIMAX SCS. This course is intended for all those who will be directly involved in positioning the concept of BAS as the 4th Building Utility with those responsible for building projects. Design specialists that will interface with the various BAS vendors & will plan and tailor a cabling infrastructure to support each BAS system. The pre-requisite for this course is attendance to ND3321 Design and Engineering.

During this course we will focus on current security and access control (referred to as SAC) systems, technology, standards, architectures and methodologies. You will also receive instruction on applying the principles of network infrastructure design to security projects using products manufactured or endorsed by CommScope. Recommended for Design Specialists already skilled in Design and Engineering (SP3321) and wanting to understand Security Infrastructure Design in more depth.

This course looks at Data Center Design in detail and how SYSTIMAX products can be used within this specialist environment. The primary audience is for Business Partners, Consultants and Customers about to embark on or already involved in Data Center design projects.

It covers Data Center fundamentals and planning considerations, Data Center standards and SYSTIMAX copper, fiber and pre-terminated fiber design and installation. It builds upon the basic design skills learnt in the SP3321 course. Therefore the ideal pre-requisite for this course is qualification in SP3321 Design and Engineering. The combination of current SP3321, SP8800 and SP8810 Data Center II will acknowledge the student as a Data Center Specialist.
