Online Self Paced Training:
To become a Uniprise Certified Installer, installers must have successfully completed this online course. The Uniprise Installer Training Program is designed to assure that the installer is qualified to properly install the Enterprise Network (both inside and outside plant) using products that comprise a Uniprise solution.
The training course covers telecommunications Standards 568, 569, 606, 607 and 758 and NFPA 70 (NEC), C2-2002 - National Electrical Safety Code® (NESC®), OSHA Regulations (Standards-29 CFR) - 1910, (1910.268, Telecommunications and 1910.146, Permit Required Confined Spaces). Participants are instructed on proper methodologies required for planning, placing, terminating and testing copper (horizontal cabling) and fiber (building backbone and outside plant) media in the campus structured cabling system.
