On this hands-on software course you will learn to load and configure the iPatch System Manager software and understand how to customize and use it on a customer site (New 3 Day Version). The pre-requisite to this course is the SP5500. | ||||
The course provides detailed, hands-on instruction covering the initial setup as well as the day-to-day operation of the iPatch System Manager software. In addition to covering the basic operation of the software itself, the course explains the underlying design philosophy that governs System Manager’s interactions with the iPatch hardware present at the customer site. The course will take you from software installation to building the site data-base, operation and interaction to the customers Network Management System.
Key Audience: This course is intended for all those who will be directly involved in the Installation and support of iPatch product software. The primary audience is senior Designers and Software installation Engineers from SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners and all those intending to support iPatch software post installation.
Pre-requisite knowledge: Attendance of the ND/SP5500 is mandatory, and understanding of structured cabling systems and administration (attendance of the ND3321 would be an advantage). Knowledge and use of basic PC principles and IP addressing is a requirement and some knowledge of the principles of IP, SNMP and NMS systems is an advantage.
