| UKI - Uniprise Keystone Installer  | UKI - Uniprise Keystone Installer Available CALA region only $Local | Classroom Based Course: To become a qualified Uniprise Keystone Installer, installers must successfully complete this 2 day instructor led classroom Course. The Uniprise Keystone Installer Training Program is designed to assure that the installer is qualified to properly install the products that comprise the Uniprise Keystone solution. This training course covers, industry standards, copper and fiber transmission theory, termination of copper and fiber systems, copper and fiber testing and troubleshooting, bonding, grounding and administration labeling. | Course Objective
Students undertaking this course will receive high quality training based on current industry codes, standards, regulations and methodologies, and will be able to apply the principles of installation to projects using products manufactured or endorsed by CommScope.
Certification
Students will be sent their certificates following the course. Each student is then approved to install the CommScope Keystone solution. This course alone does not provide students with the ability to register sites for any CommScope warranty support.

5. 110 Block Termination/Testing
6. Cat 5e Termination and Testing (Lab)
a. Each student will create a permanent link using a patch panel, cable and jack
b. Each student will test their permanent link using the appropriate test equipment (must pass)
7. Cat 6 Termination and Testing (Lab)
a. Each Student will create a permanent link using a patch panel, cable and jack
b. Each student will test their permanent link using the appropriate test equipment (must pass)
8. Pulling Cable
Day 2
1. Administration (labeling) and Infrastructure
2. Bonding and Grounding (Earthing)
3. Fiber Transmission
4. Fiber Testing/Troubleshooting
5. Fiber Termination and Testing (Lab)
a. Each student will terminate fiber with an EZ and Quick connector - creating a testable segment.
i. 1 SC to SC
ii.1 LC to LC
b. Each student will test their links using the appropriate test equipment (must pass)
The course is Instructor led with continuous student assessment and written assessment upon completion.
