Online Self Paced Training: SYSTIMAX IBIS provides the products and solutions to support BAS on SYSTIMAX SCS. This course is intended for all those who will be directly involved in positioning the concept of BAS as the 4th Building Utility with those responsible for building projects. Design specialists that will interface with the various BAS vendors & will plan and tailor a cabling infrastructure to support each BAS system. The pre-requisite for this course is attendance to ND3321 Design and Engineering. | |||||||
Integration of BAS over a single infrastructure is increasingly becoming a project requirement and hence a challenge for SCS designers. The motivations for integration have never been more apparent than today, it makes financial sense, standards have emerged and increasingly BAS vendors are looking to integrate to the IP/LAN environment. The course covers requirements specific to SYSTIMAX IBIS Design, products and solutions. Students will be taught Legacy BAS systems and signaling through to modern day BAS convergence using IP devices. BAS shall be explained in terms of market, motivations, standards, Infrastructure design, connectivity, performance and products.
Key Audience: This course is intended for all those who will be directly involved in positioning the concept of BAS as the 4th Building Utility with those responsible for building projects. Design specialists that will interface with the various BAS vendors & will plan and tailor a cabling infrastructure to support each BAS system. The primary audience is for those already qualified in course ND3321 Design and Engineering, Business Partners, Consultants and Customers considering integration of BAS into a future project design. Upon successful completion of the online assessment the course is certificated and partners will receive an updated Design and Engineering ID card with the 'ND'7700 IBIS specialist icon added.
The course attracts a total of 6 BICSI Continued Education Credits.
